School Feeding Programs

The childhood is the most critical time in the physical and mental development of any human being and food is a basic need and for this reason also a basic right. Malnutrition remains a critical issue among Syrian refugee children.

With this project Tabitha ensures that Syrian and Lebanese children receive a healthy nutrition food supplement during their time at school, which vulnerable families are increasingly unable to provide.

Mothers of children at schools are participating as volunteers and are be able to support their families financially through the stipend they receive.

This program is implemented in three different locations:

  1. Aley Community Center
  2. Antelias Public School
  3. Bourj el Barajneh Palestinian camp
